Civil Site Supervisor

About the role

INTEC Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Civil Site Supervisor to lead civil construction activities on a large‑scale renewable energy project in Mauritania. You will be responsible for ensuring that all civil works are executed safely, on schedule, and in strict accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction tasks, coordinating site teams and subcontractors.
• Manage earthworks, excavation, grading, backfilling, compaction, concrete works, foundations, roads, drainage, fencing, and cable trenching.
• Oversee civil works related to Solar PV, BESS, wind installations, and associated site infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with method statements, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, QA/QC, HSE, and other site disciplines.
• Review drawings, resolve technical issues, and report progress, delays, and constraints.
• Facilitate inspections, close punch‑list items, and maintain daily site records.

Required profile

• Degree or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Civil Site Supervisor on construction, infrastructure, power, or renewable‑energy projects.
• Hands‑on experience with earthworks, concrete, foundations, roads, drainage, and general site infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, layouts, specifications, and method statements.
• Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
