Electrical Engineer – Solar PV & BESS Installation Supervision

About the role

We are seeking senior Electrical Engineers to lead the installation supervision of a >20 MW industrial solar project. The role involves coordinating EPC teams, verifying PV array layouts, and ensuring safe, compliant commissioning of both solar and battery storage systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate EPC crew, electricians and civil teams to keep mechanical and electrical milestones aligned.
• Validate array layout, tilt, grounding, string configuration and torque values against approved drawings.
• Sign‑off on bolting, earthing and cable management before panel flashing and inverter energisation.
• Maintain daily progress logs, flag deviations and propose corrective actions on the same day.
• Prepare final punch‑list, hand‑over package with as‑built redlines, test results and sign‑off certificates.

Required profile

• Master’s (or 5‑year) degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years experience in design/construction of PV power plants >2 MWp, BESS (>2 MWh), MV/LV networks, or industrial civil works.
• Proven track record supervising multi‑megawatt installations and delivering projects on schedule.

Required skills

• Design tools: AutoCAD, Helioscope, PVSyst.
• PV technologies, inverters, substations, testing & commissioning (IV curve, insulation resistance, polarity, continuity).
• BESS components: Li‑Ion batteries, PCS, EMS, BMS, safety procedures.
• Grid connection studies, MV/LV network coordination, compliance with NEC, IEC and local regulations.
