Agreement Manager

About the role

Wärtsilä Energy is looking for an Agreement Manager to lead end‑to‑end contract delivery for engine power‑plant operations in Nouakchott, Mauritania. The role is responsible for the overall service delivery, commercial performance and customer satisfaction of the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall service delivery at the customer plant to meet agreed commercial and operational targets.
• Lead the plant organization, ensuring safe, effective maintenance and operations in line with contractual obligations.
• Develop and coach plant personnel, set objectives, monitor performance and provide technical guidance.
• Be accountable for commercial and operational performance, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and align expectations.
• Manage the plant budget and resources, ensuring financial and operational results.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Agreement Manager or similar role in power‑plant or industrial service environments.
• Strong leadership and people‑development capabilities.
• Commercial acumen with a focus on profitability and contract compliance.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Commitment to health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
