Assistant Manager – Security & Loss Prevention

About the role

Assists in managing daily security and loss‑prevention operations to protect property, assets, employees and guests. Ensures compliance with legal requirements, maintains required logs and certifications, and supports training on emergency and fire‑prevention procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct hazard and risk assessments, quarterly OSHA/Safety audits and incident tracking.
• Supervise patrols, key‑control processes and electronic key systems across the property.
• Lead initial incident investigations, coordinate emergency response and follow‑up actions.
• Manage loss‑prevention activities including shipping/receiving reviews, claims handling and liaison with local law enforcement.
• Oversee staff recruitment, training, performance appraisals and attendance monitoring.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with 3 years security/loss‑prevention experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice (or related) with 1 year relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain logs, certifications and comply with federal, state and local safety regulations.
