Business Developer (VIE) – Mauritania

About the role

Reporting to the CEO, you will drive the identification and development of new business opportunities in Mauritania. You will manage a portfolio of strategic projects, build partnerships, and lead cross‑functional initiatives, especially in digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage the agency’s project portfolio while monitoring public policy, investment programmes and business opportunities.
• Propose tailored projects with implementation plans, analysing constraints and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Prepare and facilitate project‑governance meetings with relevant departments and headquarters.
• Monitor project progress, budgets and deliver monthly status reports to management and HQ.
• Produce ad‑hoc presentations to track progress and share key information with stakeholders.
• Lead cross‑functional projects, focusing on digital transformation and innovative solutions for the agency’s teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Entrepreneurship or a related field.
• Strong diligence, curiosity, organisational skills and clarity of thought.
• Excellent presentation abilities and a very good command of written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a genuine interest in digital tools.
• Previous experience working in Africa is an added advantage.
