CCTV Security Agent

About the role

The CCTV Security Agent is responsible for protecting the property, guests, and employees by monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. This full‑time position works on‑site at the Avenue du Palais des Congrès in Nouakchott.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and contact EMS as needed.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and call for external assistance when necessary.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
• Support guests with disabilities, welcome all visitors, and uphold professional appearance standards.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb unaided.
• Willingness to follow company policies, report unsafe conditions, and maintain confidentiality.
• Capability to read and verify information in various formats and operate basic computer systems.
