Driver

About the role

The Driver is responsible for the safe and reliable transportation of authorized personnel, as well as cargo or hazardous goods when required. The role includes vehicle upkeep, administrative support and assistance with facility management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely and secure transport for staff, including airport pickups and assistance with immigration and customs procedures.
• Collect and deliver mail, documents and other items as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily vehicle logs and support maintenance planning.
• Perform routine vehicle checks (oil, water, battery, brakes, tires) and carry out minor repairs; coordinate major repairs.
• Keep vehicles clean, road‑worthy and ensure all required documentation (insurance, registration, maps, first‑aid kit) is available.
• Respond to accidents in line with organisational procedures.
• Support administrative functions such as procurement of office supplies, inventory management and liaison with service providers for minor repairs.
• Monitor and follow up on office equipment maintenance and utility services.

Required profile

• Secondary school education with at least 2 years relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with no experience required.
• Demonstrated experience in safe and defensive driving and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Familiarity with driving rules and regulations and possession of a valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
