Finance and Support Services Director

About the role

The Finance and Support Services Director provides overall leadership, oversight and management support for all financial activities of the Field Office. As a strategic partner on the Senior Leadership Team, the role ensures accountability, stewardship and alignment of financial strategy with programme objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial management, planning and budgeting processes for the Field Office.
• Provide accurate financial data, analysis and advice to senior leadership.
• Develop and implement internal controls, risk management and asset safeguarding in line with World Vision policies.
• Strengthen finance staff capacity and promote best practices.
• Coordinate cross‑functional financial reporting and support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a finance role within a medium‑sized business, NGO or government agency.
• At least 3 years in a senior finance management position.
• Proven experience in financial planning, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems and internal controls.
• Fluent in French (written and spoken) and proficient in English.
• Ability to work in a cross‑cultural, multi‑national environment and travel as required.
