Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer Annotator to support the development and evaluation of AI models. In this role you will review, annotate, and validate backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system design outputs to improve AI training quality.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples and engineering workflows.
• Label datasets that involve REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend processes.
• Validate scalability, performance, and reliability standards of server‑side code.
• Provide structured engineering reasoning and feedback on code accuracy.
• Review database queries, authentication mechanisms, and microservice interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
• Prior experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
