Junior Lawyer (Remote)

About the role

TAMKIN CORPORATION® is seeking a Junior Lawyer to provide day‑to‑day legal support for its AI‑driven financial services and software engineering projects. This full‑time, remote position will work closely with technical, product and business teams to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risk.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and revise contracts and legal documents such as NDAs, service agreements, licensing terms and partnership agreements.
• Support regulatory and compliance reviews related to banking, fintech, data protection and AI‑based solutions.
• Conduct legal research, prepare internal memoranda and assist in policy development and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify legal implications of projects and propose practical, compliant solutions.
• Assist with corporate governance, prepare documentation for local and regional authorities, and coordinate with external counsel when required.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in contract and commercial law with experience drafting and reviewing agreements.
• Ability to conduct structured legal research, analyse regulations and produce clear legal memos.
• Interest or understanding of financial sector regulations, fintech and compliance frameworks.
• Strong interest in technology law, including software, data protection, privacy and AI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French or Arabic is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent); admission to practice or progress toward bar qualification is advantageous.
• Previous internship or junior experience in a law firm, in‑house legal team or regulatory body, preferably in financial services or technology.
