Marketing Communications Manager

About the role

Presto, a delivery app building a brand that wants to become part of everyday life in Mauritania, is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager. The role owns the brand's marketing communications in Mauritania and shapes how people discover, experience and connect with the brand, with freedom to experiment and build campaigns that connect online attention with real-world moments.

Key responsibilities

• Create campaigns that link online attention with real-world experiences, communities and local culture
• Develop creative ideas that generate word of mouth, organic reach and brand affinity
• Turn local insights, cultural nuances and consumer behaviour into relevant brand experiences
• Lead brand messaging, storytelling, content strategy, social media, PR and integrated marketing campaigns
• Connect campaigns to clear objectives, measurable KPIs and business impact
• Test unconventional concepts, learn quickly and scale what works
• Collaborate with commercial, operations and other teams to turn ideas into customer experiences

Required profile

• Solid experience in marketing communications, brand building, creative strategy or integrated campaigns
• Able to turn an idea from a blank page into a real campaign
• Understanding of how people think and why they choose one brand over another
• Combines creative instinct with commercial thinking and data
• Understands the Mauritanian market, its culture and its audiences
• Can work independently, take ownership and communicate with local audiences and cross-functional teams

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Arabic (including Hassaniya nuances) and French
• Experience in brand messaging, content strategy, social media and PR
