Remote 3D Modeler (Full-Time/Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a highly creative Remote 3D Modeler to turn 2D concepts into polished 3D assets. You will collaborate with art directors, engineers, and designers to deliver immersive, high‑quality models for our digital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build high‑quality organic and hard‑surface 3D models from concept art, sketches, and references.
• Create realistic or stylized textures, UV maps, materials, and lighting to enhance visual appeal.
• Optimize models by reducing polygon counts while maintaining aesthetic quality for real‑time performance.
• Coordinate with design, animation, and engineering teams via Slack, Zoom, and project‑management tools.
• Iterate on models, textures, and renders based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain organized folder structures, clean UVs, and clear versioning on cloud servers.
• Stay current with industry trends, new software, and modern rendering techniques.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both organic and hard‑surface work.
• Ability to work independently, manage schedule, and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
• Exceptional eye for form, scale, color, proportion, and spatial relationships.
