Remote CMS Developer (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom Content Management System applications such as WordPress, Drupal, or Craft CMS. The role is fully remote and operates on a contract basis, offering the opportunity to work closely with designers and content teams to deliver secure, high‑performing web experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage, and scale customized CMS applications, including custom themes, modules, and plugins.
• Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility, and perform performance tuning.
• Set up custom post types and fields to provide an intuitive editing experience for non‑technical users.
• Maintain site security, handle backups, software updates, and manage user authentication.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, and tracking tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate daily with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders to meet brand guidelines and project timelines.
• Produce clean code and comprehensive technical documentation for future maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on CMS technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and attention to design accuracy.
