Supervisor Loss Prevention / Security Supervisor

About the role

The Supervisor Loss Prevention ensures the safety of guests, employees and assets by monitoring the property, responding to emergencies, and enforcing security policies. This full‑time position works on‑site at a hospitality venue in Nouakchott.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and secure rooms.
• Assist guests with room access and respond to emergencies.
• Conduct emergency drills, daily safety inspections, investigations and key‑control audits.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, authorize and document access to secured areas.
• Provide first aid/CPR, contact EMS and complete incident reports.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons and enforce alcoholic beverage laws.
• Support management in training, coaching and motivating staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of reports and protect company assets.

Required profile

• Physical stamina to stand, walk, run and lift up to 50 lb unassisted (75 lb with assistance).
• Ability to remain calm and decisive during emergencies.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to company policies.

Required skills

• CCTV monitoring and alarm system operation.
• Key‑control audit procedures.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Basic computer usage for reporting and access control.
