Technical Supervisor ESM/SNIM

About the role

The Technical Supervisor ensures that workshop projects are delivered with the highest level of quality, reliability and within the planned timeframe. The role combines operational planning, team leadership and strict adherence to Komatsu standards in a rebuild environment.

Key responsibilities

• Utilise workshop labour and resources to meet operational targets.
• Assist the workshop manager in short‑ and mid‑term planning, considering parts delivery.
• Daily follow‑up of work versus plan and supervise subordinates to produce quality output.
• Allocate job cards and manage technicians to maximise throughput according to skill sets.
• Ensure work complies with Komatsu Standard Procedures and proper use of RESO software.
• Provide the Senior Supervisor with daily operation reports, timesheets and component testing reports.
• Maintain detailed records, pictures and labour logs for every job and track parts consumption.
• Deliver on‑the‑job training, technical advice and uphold a zero‑tolerance safety policy.
• Keep the workshop clean, safe and ensure timely documentation and change‑management communication.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in a similar supervisory position.
• Craft or advanced certificate in a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, engines and electricity.
• Experience with rebuild facility procedures and equipment such as Komatsu or Cummins.
• Proven ability to remove and install components safely.
• Fluent in French; English is a strong advantage.
• Good computer skills, including MS‑Word, Excel and project management tools.
