Temporary IT Specialist – World Bank (Nouakchott)

About the role
The World Bank is seeking a temporary Information Technology professional to support its Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidency in Nouakchott, Mauritania. This one‑year fixed‑term position will contribute to the delivery of transformative technology solutions across the Bank’s global operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the ITS unit in implementing and maintaining technology services for staff in over 150 locations.
- Support the development and deployment of data, research, and technology tools that address development challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure technology solutions align with the World Bank’s mission of ending extreme poverty.
Required profile
- Local recruitment for a position based in Nouakchott, Mauritania.
- Fluent in English (required) and French (preferred).
- Grade ET4 with a term duration of one year.
