Financial Assistant

About the role

The Financial Assistant will support BLS International Services Ltd. in managing its financial planning, reporting and compliance activities. Working closely with senior finance leaders, you will help ensure accurate financial data, timely reporting and effective cash management across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes to support strategic initiatives.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Provide regular management reports highlighting key performance indicators, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Manage tax planning and compliance, including VAT and corporation tax, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations.
• Coordinate external audits, supply required information and address audit findings.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and working capital, optimizing cash management strategies.
• Establish and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets.
• Evaluate and implement financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; an MBA or MSc is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting, tax compliance or audit management.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
