Civil Site Manager – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

INTEC Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to lead civil construction activities on a large‑scale hybrid renewable energy project in Mauritania. You will ensure safe, efficient, and on‑time delivery of civil works in line with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily civil construction activities and supervise site teams.
• Oversee earthworks, foundations, concrete works, roads, drainage, fencing, and cable trenches.
• Coordinate civil works for Solar PV, BESS, wind, and related site infrastructure.
• Supervise subcontractors, monitor progress, productivity, and site constraints.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, QA/QC, HSE, and Commissioning teams.
• Review drawings, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Prepare site progress reports and ensure adherence to HSE standards.
• Support testing, completion, and handover of civil works.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Civil Site Manager or similar role on utility‑scale projects.
• Strong background in solar PV projects; experience with BESS or wind is a plus.
• Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
• International or African project experience preferred.
