Cost Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Cost Controller will support the property’s finance function by delivering accurate financial analysis, budgeting, and cost‑control insights. This role ensures that financial performance meets the brand’s strategic objectives and helps drive profitable decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and market trends to support strategic planning.
• Assist in forecasting sales versus expenses and prepare annual budget plans.
• Monitor actual sales against projections and identify variance drivers.
• Develop cost‑saving initiatives and evaluate new business opportunities.
• Analyze wage budget variances to improve budgeting efficiency.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to manage business risks.
• Lead and communicate with accounting teams, ensuring clear accountability.
• Prepare timely financial reports, ensuring accurate profit‑and‑loss documentation.
• Oversee tax compliance, ensuring taxes are current, collected, and accrued.
• Coordinate internal, external, and regulatory audit processes.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• No prior work experience required; entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with numbers and develop forecasts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• High attention to detail and integrity in financial reporting.
