Document Control Specialist

About the role

INTEC Energy Solutions is seeking a Document Control Specialist to join its team in Nouakchott-Nord Region, Mauritania. The role focuses on organizing, maintaining, and ensuring the integrity of project documentation across the company’s engineering and construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, catalogue and maintain a central repository of technical specifications, reports and project documents.
• Implement and oversee a version‑control system to track revisions and guarantee document accuracy.
• Review documents for completeness and compliance with company standards.
• Conduct regular audits, provide training on document‑control procedures and convert hard‑copy files to electronic format.
• Coordinate with client Document Control Specialists, attend meetings, prepare minutes and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum three years of document‑control or similar experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Result‑oriented, able to multitask and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using version‑control systems for document management.
