Electrical Site Supervisor

About the role

INTEC Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to lead electrical installation activities on a large‑scale renewable energy project in Mauritania. You will ensure that all works are performed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily electrical installation work in line with approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Oversee installation of MV/LV cables, cable trays, terminations, transformers, switchgear, distribution, earthing, lighting and auxiliary systems.
• Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical, structural, SCADA, QA/QC, HSE and other site teams.
• Manage subcontractors and site crews, monitor progress and report issues, delays and technical concerns.
• Review electrical drawings and single‑line diagrams, resolve technical issues with engineering.
• Arrange inspections, close punch‑list items and ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures.
• Support testing, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, energisation and hand‑over activities.
• Maintain daily site records, progress reports and inspection documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor or similar role on construction, power, industrial or renewable‑energy projects.
• Experience with utility‑scale solar PV projects is highly desirable.
• Hands‑on experience with MV/LV systems, cable installation, terminations, transformers, switchgear, earthing and auxiliary systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single‑line diagrams and technical specifications.
