Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will support day‑to‑day execution of general‑ledger processes, ensuring accurate accounting, reporting, and discrepancy resolution for the organization. This full‑time position is based at Avenue du Palais des Congres in Nouakchott and works closely with internal teams and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement accounting projects, including SOP audits across all property areas.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations related to fraud and collection procedures.
• Generate timely financial reports, presentations, and analyses to support decision‑making.
• Perform ledger reconciliation, balance credit‑card ledgers, and verify contracts and credit references for direct‑billed groups.
• Monitor taxes, document profit and loss accurately, and ensure a strong control environment to safeguard assets.
• Complete period‑end close activities and provide guidance on accounting and budgeting policies.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (no experience required) OR a 2‑year degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate information and solve problems.
• Ability to develop and prioritize goals, meet reporting deadlines, and maintain accurate financial records.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using computer systems for financial spreadsheet development and data entry.
