Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the HR function for a property in Nouakchott, overseeing recruitment, compensation, benefits, and employee development. The role ensures HR services meet employee needs, support business success, and comply with all relevant laws and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job fairs, external sourcing, candidate screening, and coordination with property managers.
• Partner with advertising vendors to attract a diverse candidate pool and maintain quality control of selection processes.
• Administer employee benefits, respond to unemployment claims, audit provider reports, and represent the property at hearings.
• Develop and deliver orientation and ongoing training programs, ensuring cross‑training and a positive first impression for new hires.
• Maintain compliance with HR policies, standard operating procedures, and local regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of HR or related experience, OR an associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 1 year of experience.
