Human Resources Specialist – Recruitment & Employee Relations

About the role

INTEC Energy Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support its operations in the Nouakchott‑Nord Region of Mauritania. The role will focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration within a fast‑growing international energy company.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: manage end‑to‑end recruitment, publish job ads, screen CVs, coordinate interviews, support hiring managers, and handle offer preparation and onboarding.
• HR Operations: maintain personnel files, prepare employment contracts, and ensure compliance with Mauritanian labour law and internal policies.
• Employee Relations: serve as the primary contact for HR queries, support disciplinary and employee‑relations processes, and coordinate with headquarters and regional offices.
• Reporting & Workforce Planning: produce monthly HR reports, monitor headcount, and assist with workforce planning.

Required profile

• Proactive, solution‑oriented and able to work in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Hands‑on attitude with strong coordination and follow‑up skills.
• Comfortable working both in office and on site.

Required skills

• Minimum 4–6 years of HR experience with a focus on recruitment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Knowledge of Mauritanian labour law.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Strong command of MS Office applications.
