Project Planner

About the role

INTEC Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Planner to support its utility‑scale solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System projects in Mauritania. You will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and reporting project schedules, budgets, and cash‑flow forecasts to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project budgets using the CSI Cost Code structure.
• Prepare monthly cash‑flow and revenue forecasts and report progress to the PMO.
• Track contract variations, perform schedule and cost impact analyses, and support claim preparation.
• Maintain baseline project schedules, integrating manpower, cost, and material resources.
• Ensure alignment between committed cost reports and accounting records.
• Support procurement registers, monitor procurement schedules, and track progress payments.
• Travel to project sites for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and coordination meetings.
• Analyze cash inflows/outflows against forecasts and consolidate data across multiple projects.
• Review invoices for correct cost allocation and implement cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling construction projects, preferably utility‑scale solar PV.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
